Nice thinking, the combination of Gigaclaws and Melnia is awesome.

This deck does everything right! Starting from the cost-to-quantity ratio to destruction and discarding balance, its the ideal water and darkness deck within TCG limits. Excellent use of the chimeras to build up to Gigazabal. Melnia is the perfect killing machine, and combining it with Gigaclaws is the perfect way to discard.

Apparently, this deck is a big hit with everyone but me. I really wanted a Battleship+Ice Vapour+Grim Soul+Trixo deck but it just doesn't seem to work. Eventually, I forced myself to change it to a chimera deck.

"Cruel Naga, Avatar of Fate", its the vortex evolution for your deck, remember that these are the most powerful creatures of TCG, try to add it.

There aren't any merfolk in his deck so Cruel Naga is useless. The deck is fine the way it is

And Merfolk are generally a very mediocre race; bordering on useless in fact. Melodic Hunter, Tide Patroller, Funky Wizard, Time Scout, Frantic Chieftain - all useless. Revival Soldier is a wave striker. Wily Carpenter's ability COULD be put to good use, but not in a Cruel Naga deck; same applies for Mystic Magician. Sea Mutant Dormel is probably the only evo-base for Cruel Naga that's actually worth using.

I agree that merfolks are not a good idea for this deck, but after you have morphed one of them into that beast, the deck might become better.

Can it beat the tier 1 decks of TCG like RUB Bolmeteus and Bombazar Decks? It already lost to a RUB Bolmeteus.... try modifying it a bit.
