Deck "Astral Storm"

Deck "Astral Storm"

Do not pay attention to any of the first eight comments.
Previously there was a weak Cyber Lord deck there which I have put only for some kind of tribute, since I had it irl and sold it for a lot of cash.
What you see now is my first attempt to make the Water Rush strategy - which was and probably still is very popular in Japan - Hybrid. I think I've done quite a good job, but it's for you guys to decide it.
Hybrid is an unofficial format in which decks do not have to follow the banlist. There's also no 40-cards limit. Although it's obviously not fair and very unbalanced, it's sometimes fun to try it. And what's more, we play like that irl in Poland.
The edit was made at 31th of July. Do not care about votes that were submitted before that day.

This deck does seem to be really strategic but where is the power. I understand that you have a lot of ways to deal with heavy hitters but what happens if you can't put something big away in time. That's the only iffy I see but everything is pretty nasty, nice job

What an off balanced deck it is? Well you can use very rarely those 3 darkness and 3 light card when you are using them with 34 water cards.
So they are completely waste. You can use it if they come out from shield.
Otherwise no.

Not really. Firstly, note that I have 4 copies of Emeral, so pulling them out of my shields is easier than one would thought. Note also that I have an enormous amount of draw, so to your suprise I cast them normally quite often.

I'm a bit disappointed tbh. I mean sure, Aqua and Corile is nice and all, but that's more a small tactic.

If you allow for free use of Streaming Shaper, then the best decks are still pure Water. Either rush, or Twilight Sigma, which is honestly the only real mono Water control worth bothering with.

And now the spell check is just simply R.E.T.A.R.D.E.D by not allowing me to post two freaking sentences because I have one NAME and one ABBREVIATION, the stupid thing.

So I will just spam a big ass text here:

Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun, and the third-largest and fourth most massive planet in the Solar System. It is named after the ancient Greek deity of the sky Uranus (Ancient Greek: Οὐρανός) the father of Cronus (Saturn) and grandfather of Zeus (Jupiter). Though it is visible to the naked eye like the five classical planets, it was never recognized as a planet by ancient observers because of its dimness and slow orbit.[16] Sir William Herschel announced its discovery on March 13, 1781, expanding the known boundaries of the Solar System for the first time in modern history. Uranus was also the first planet discovered with a telescope.

Uranus is similar in composition to Neptune, and both have different compositions from those of the larger gas giants Jupiter and Saturn. As such, astronomers sometimes place them in a separate category, the "ice giants". Uranus's atmosphere, while similar to Jupiter and Saturn's in its primary composition of hydrogen and helium, contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia and methane, along with traces of hydrocarbons.[12] It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of 49 K (–224 °C). It has a complex, layered cloud structure, with water thought to make up the lowest clouds, and methane thought to make up the uppermost layer of clouds.[12] In contrast the interior of Uranus is mainly composed of ices and rock.[11]

Like the other giant planets, Uranus has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons. The Uranian system has a unique configuration among the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its revolution about the Sun. As such, its north and south poles lie where most other planets have their equators.[17] Seen from Earth, Uranus's rings can sometimes appear to circle the planet like an archery target and its moons revolve around it like the hands of a clock, though in 2007 and 2008 the rings appeared edge-on. In 1986, images from Voyager 2 showed Uranus as a virtually featureless planet in visible light without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other giants.[17] However, terrestrial observers have seen signs of seasonal change and increased weather activity in recent years as Uranus approached its equinox. The wind speeds on Uranus can reach 250 meters per second (900 km/h, 560 mph).[18]

Did you hear that messaging system? URANUS!

I once owned this deck irl, and here it's a pure reminder of it. I haven't edited thi for ages, what do you expect?
I just like this deck because it was fun to play and I sold it for freaking 106$, so I thought "Yeah, I like that deck, why not putting it on TCO?"... so I did.

And now some guy comes here and insults me just because he doesn't like the spells there. Nice. Just gtfo. I think that someone on dz already said it to you: Stop being a jerk and getting all excited about this.

Oi, I wasn't insulting you or anything. Technically I just posted two sentences on the deck, and I was just saying that if you are using Shaper, then ideally you should go for pure mono.

That's hardly "not likeing it because of spells" or whatever.

If you posted this as an irl deck, then you should have said so in the description. That's what it's there for, so people can understand your goal and discuss based on it.

Otherwise it's open to anyone's interpretation, where I will always discuss the "ideal way to do this". Especially since there are listed cards involved, where it's not like you don't like it when we talk about their best use.

I am not saying that I am not often enough harsh on these matters, but don't read it that way at your convenience, when I said so little.

"Hybrid is an unofficial format in which decks do not have to follow the ban list. There's also no 40-cards limit." Haven't you read that in description of the deck? Hybrid f***s ban list and that is example of one of the best decks in hybrid
