Spamming is when someone posts something on a thread that is completely off topic, or posts in a thread that is nearly two years old and created by a cancelled user, (see the below postings of jason_brownell for reference... ). It is highly frowned upon on this site although most users participate anyway, thinking that for some reason or another their forum ranking actually makes them a more respected person of this site. Just do not bring up old topics posted by cancelled users and create spam filler topics just to up your postings and you'll be fine. Hope this helps and welcome to TCO.
