Card Review for "No Secrets From the Magaji"

Just wanted to point out that a common mistake that players make with No Secrets From the Magaji (and also Open Dossier) is that if the magaji is tapped, he may block as if untapped, but he *cannot* play reaction cards as if untapped. So if you realize you need additional intercept, you need to play a Wake before you can play Enhanced Senses.

Another approach is to design your deck so as to force your prey to take actions. Blood depletion decks can force your prey's empty minions to hunt (which you then block). In some cases, you might not even want to torpor that minion because as long as he's in a hunting loop, you can easily block him (and gain Curmudgeon blood). Alternatively, you can play debilitating minion cards that may be burned as an action. Lunatic Eruption, Mark of Damnation, Mind of a Killer, Soul Painting, etc. can be used to manipulate which of your prey's minions are going to take actions. Curmudgeon works best with superior AUS or SPI because Eagle Sight and Falcon's Eye lets you block (D) actions directed at other players. |

Loner might be okay for decks that include weenies as chump blockers (weenie Auspex vampires) or deflectors (weenie Dominate vampires). Might also be workable if playing Malkavians with the Madness Network.

If you can't protect the Maabara, it ends up getting burned (not stolen). Also, Guard Duty probably isn't your best choice. Harbingers have plenty of Auspex so defending it should not be too big of a problem, even more so with Necromancy S:CE or Fortitude prevention.

Conniver is great for decks heavily using bleed bounce. You can do better than break even, if you have multiple Connivers (so a single successful Deflected bleed can get you a blood for *all* of your Connivers). It also has special uses with Madness Network, Enkil Cog, and/or Lutz.

This card is way too powerful. The only way to balance it would be to make it cost 5 pool.

I think this card could exist if changed to something like this: Name: Political Trap Type: Reaction Requires: Titled Vampire (Could be Lasombra or Giovanni too) Only usable when a political action is blocked. Play before the combat (if any). Choose a minion. The acting vampire enters combat with that minion instead. The acting vampire cannot play any strike cards on the first round of combat and damage prevention cards cost him or her one additional blood to play. |

Too strong. Obf isn't supposed to provide combat ends. Maybe you can fix this by increasing it's cost.
