the killing machine

General description:
Well at a first glance you might think that sneasel is just another basic pokemon that can't do much on its own and in a sense you're right but even with only 60 HP this card can kick even a EX pokemon's butt.
His first attack, Fury Swipes, takes only one energy but can only do damage if you get heads when you flip the coin.
His second attack is the Kicker, Beat up, can be used to take out most pokemon when used in a certain way.
Plus whith a zero retreat cost he can slip away from danger even though he has no weakness to worry about.

Uses:
To use sneasel you must keep it in a deck that makes full use of its terrible power. For starters you can't just add it into a deck that utilizes the power of stage 2 pokemon because they rely too much on one main attacker or two main attackers and since sneasel has only 60 HP it would be useless to use it as a shield for the lower stages of the main attacker. To use his full power you must have 2 dark energys which not only let him use his strongest attack but also add 20 damage to whatever sneasel does which can help defeat basic pokemon if you happen to only get one heads when you flip the coin for beat up. Also to make it even more effective you can add a gust of wind to draw out your opponents main attacker while they are trying to power it up and hurt them before they can hurt you.

Strategies and game play:
The main strategy that you can utilize sneasel with is in a slowking/baby deck(the neo genesis babys). It works in this type of deck because the slowkings(neo genesis) pokemon power makes your opponent flip a coin to use any trainer cards and if just one of the flips is a tails your opponent has to put the card on top of their deck. Mean while the baby pokemon such as cleffa can use eek to allow you to shuffule your hand into your deck and draw 7 new cards as well as your opponent has to flip a coin to even be able to hurt the baby pokemon. whith slowkings on the bench as well as baby pokemon it allows you to have sneasel attack for a max(if 4 dark energies and a full bench) of 160 damage.

Combos with other cards:
Slowking(neo genesis)
Cleffa(neo genesis)

Ways to counteract it:
At this moment I don't know any but feel free to add some

Strengths/Pros:
basic pokemon, no weakness, no retreat cost, only needs 1 energy to be able to even attack

Weaknesses/Cons:
60 HP, needs 2 dark energies to use beat up,

Variations:
There are many other variations but none of them have yet to match up to the power of this version

Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork is a simple picture of sneasel but also doesnt allow the opponent to realize what they are up against

Overall rating:
overall i give it a 8 out of 10

a pokemon that has a pokebody, like usaring's intimidating ring, makes basic pokemon not retreat or attack.

that would be a major help defeating it!

nice review!
