Trade Cards Online is shutting down.

Trade Cards Online will be shut down beginning 1 July 2019. We strongly recommend you export your lists before this date as the site, together with your account, will no longer be available afterwards. But since we weren't able to expend enough time to keep up with the marketplace, we have decided to shut the site down. While it's sad to say goodbye, we are hopeful that you will continue your passion for collecting. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you. We appreciate everyone who has used and supported Trade Cards Online. Thank you!

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. By sending 1 card (except this card) from your side of the field to the Graveyard, select 1 monster on your side of the field. While this card is face-up on the field the selected monster is not destroyed as a result of battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally)

General description:
This card really is the best E-Hero in my mind because of his effect, if you destroy a card on your side of the field, a monster becomes invincable in battle as long as this card remains on the field. This effect can make this card invincable in battle, THATS WHY ITS THE BEST E-HERO OF ALL! Its effect can also be chained by cards that go to the graveyard. Sangan could be used to get another monster that could be turned invincable. Some of the bad sides to this card are that it takes three monsters to summon it as a fusion summon. Its effect also doesn't mean that it can destroy any monster in battle, but it has that spirit reaper effect, it won't be destroyed as a result of battle. Some ways to get past these downsides are using substitutes for fusion material monsters, like mystical sheep #1. You could also use this effect on Dancing Fairy and Ballon Lizard so they will increase your life points to infinity and your ballon lizard will get enough helium to pop your opponents life points to 0. Also, when you use thsi card on yourself, put it in defence mode so incase your opponent comes up with a sacred god or something or is playing a sacred god deck. It you won't lose a bunch of life points and your opponent can't get through to your life points.

I would use this card in a E-Hero Deck just because it will be summoned easier and it gets all that support. I would also use it in a fusion/graveyard ability monster to turn the tide of the battle to your advantage.

Strategies and game play:
Tempest+Sangan=Ballon Lizard+Tempest's ablity=evil burn strategy.
Tempest+Statute of the Wicked+Patrician of Darkness= NO ATTACK BARRIER!!!
If this card entered these stratigies, your opponent has no chance against your Tempest's effect exept through spell, trap, and effect monsters. Note: Make sure to load up on those spell-trap removal cards to stop your opponent from killing your Tempest early.

Combos with other cards:
See stratigies and game play

Ways to counteract it:
Load up on Monster Removal cards to get rid of Tempest or possibly Skill Drain. Thsi would kill your Tempest, but his high ATK and DEF will still make it hard to get rid of him through battle.

This cards ATK and DEF are its backup to its ability if he strips you of it, but his effect will really rock the house quick before your opponent can get through to you.

The way he is summoned to the field is tough even through substitute monsters because they probably mean that the other monsters have to be the right ones and monster removal card will be a big waste and hurt on your strategy.

His variations are the Ultra and Ultimate rare from Elemental Energy.

Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork shows its light through the combo. of all three monsters. It makes it look very cool.

Overall rating:
In an E-Hero Deck 9.5/10 because of all the E-Hero support,
In a burn and graveyard ability deck 8/10

"I looked it up....Tempest's effect is what's called an Ignition effect, and the only kinds of monster effects you can activate during your opponent's turn are Multi-Trigger effects (like Kuriboh or Strike Ninja). This means you can't use Tempest's effect during your opponent's turn, which makes his effect almost worthless.....Tempest will be mostly used as a beatstick"

This is a quote from wolfangsd comment on his review of this card, so I thought this part of his effect should be addressed.

well thanks for the quote, but actually this review highlights something I completely over-looked.....Tempest's ability doesn't last until the end of the turn like I thought, it lasts for as long as Tempest stays on the field (according to the card text).

Since his ability lasts for as long as he's on the field, I can see why it's an Ultra gives Tempest a multiple-use Patrician of Darkness effect almost, giving you a whole line of monsters that can't be destroyed in battle (and still another use for Mind Control like I stated in my Tempest review). However, while having invincible monsters is very nice, they're still completely vulnerable to monster, spell, and trap effects...and more often than not, that's how most monsters get destroyed in a competitive setting. I still don't believe Tempest's ranking is as high as you say it is seeing how he's almost completely useless against someone with a little dueling experience, but I will admit this is a very good review (if only because you pointed something out that I didn't lol).

I give it a 4....check out my review to see what I said about it, I've mentioned a few things you didn't.
