The card reads:

Attach a Pokémon Tool to 1 of your Pokémon that doesn’t already have a Pokémon Tool attached to it.

The attacks of the Pokémon this card is attached to (excluding Pokémon-EX) do 30 more damage to Active Pokémon-EX (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

This card has so many possibilities in the current metagame. It gives a big boost to any non-EX Pokemon and is an obvious counter to the powerhouse EX’s such as Genesect-EX.

There isn’t really a reason to dislike it; it gives a +30 damage boost for as many turns as it is attached; it is a tool card and is easily accessible via search cards such as Skyla; and can be re-used through Sableye’s Junk Hunt attack and cards such as Dowsing Machine.

Uses

Silver Bangle has many uses.

To start with, it can be used as a 4-of in anti-meta decks such as Suicine/Terrakion and Sigilyph. With Silver Bangle attached, Sigilyph now does 100 damage for three energy instead of 70, and if you play Hypnotoxic Laser and Virbank City Gym, this can up your damage output to 130 in one turn, which is enough to 2HKO any Pokemon in the format, barring Black Kyurem-EX with Crystal Wall attached, which is a 3HKO. But remember, Tool Scrapper counts are being raised as DarkGarb gained fame at Worlds and the LCQ which has made players a little bit wary of the deck.

Another deck which Silver Bangle is being played in is ToolBox. ToolBox uses Trubbish PLS’ Tool Drop attack whilst using Sigilyph PLB’s ability to have as many tools on the field as possible. There is an article written by John Rosen on Sixprizes which gives you the full analysis of the deck in detail.

Combos with other cards!

I have already mentioned a few of these in the article but there are many I haven’t touched upon.

One combination that is a very good counter to the illustrious deck TDK is Silver Bangle/Silver Mirror. Silver Mirror prevents any Plasma Pokemon from attacking the non-EX Pokemon with Silver Mirror attached. So you can switch in and out with your Pokemon to prevent your opponent from attacking you and dealing an extra 30 damage from Silver Bangle. Brilliant!

Ways to counter it

This card can be countered with higher counts of Tool Scrapper. That’s all you really need to strip the Pokemon it is attached to of the benefits of this card. So scrap scrap scrap away!

Artwork: Good or Bad?

I personally don’t like the artwork much; it looks a bit cheesy and the bangle itself isn’t very…bangly. It’s really down to personal preference though; some people love it, some people don’t!

Summary

Pros

• Versatile

• Easy to re-use

• Good boost and a good counter to EX’s

Cons

• I don’t like the artwork!

• Easily countered

Overall Rating out of 10

Due to this card being a strong counter to EX’s and being a very viable inclusion to any deck that plays non-EX Pokemon, I give this card a rating of 7.5 out of 10.

I was actually competing against the "Tool-drop" Trubbish (Plasma Storm #65/135) - "Toolbox" Sigilyph (Plasma Blast #41/101) deck at a Brooklyn tournament. I countered with "Breakwing" Salamence (Plasma Blast #64/101) in addition to Tool Scrapper (Dragons Exalted #116/124).

That's a good idea. When I wrote the article I'm pretty sure that card wasn't out though.
