"Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" + "Elemental Hero Sparkman"
This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each card in your Graveyard that includes "Elemental Hero" in its card name. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.

I've been intrigued with Elemental Heroes since I first pulled a Burstinitrix from a TLM pack, so I thought I might as well write reviews for the E-Hero fusions the way I would like them to be presented, and first off will be the newest, hottest fusion of them all: Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman!

Foreward
Just a little bit before I get too indepth with my Elemental Hero fusion reviews. These cards get bashed on a lot and also get a lot of praise. Due to the very specific summoning conditions of these heroes and lack of recursion, successful Elemental Hero decks are very hard to construct. The basis of these decks, as everybody knows, is to have a variety of strategies to attack the opponent with, which is beyond the concept of the average beatstick duelists who do everything to bash away at the opponent's life points. Also, if you make a tournament-worthy Elemental Hero deck, you must be a VERY skilled duelist.

General description:
First off, this card is very similar to cards like Dark Paladin and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon in that it gets an attack boost for EVERY Elemental Hero in your grave and can only be summoned via the method written on the card. On top of that, it also has the effect of the original Flame Wingman, and given it's original attack of 2500 makes an easy heavy hit against cards like Jinzo and Mobius!

Uses:
As with all Elemental Heroes, expect to only have it on the field for one turn. Which means the turn you DO get it out into play, make sure it has a target to take a HUGE chunk out of your opponent's life points!

Strategies and game play:
Again, expect it to only be in play for one turn...any more than that and consider yourself lucky. Rather than focusing on ways to keep it in play, look for the opportunity to hit hard and hit fast, it could lead the way for all your other Elemental Heroes to score the win for you.

Combos with other cards:
A combo I have pulled off recently in scrimmage duels is to fuse Sparkman and King of the Swamp together via Polymerization to bring out Thunder Giant, then using Miracle Fusion to fuse those same monsters to bring out Shining Flare Wingman...makes a nice summoning combo to do some heavy damage. Other than that, if you really want to keep it out in play, Interdimensional Matter Transporter acts as a nice saver. And using Riryoku or Megamorph the opponent's monster adds a little salt in the wound for SFW's effect.

Ways to counteract it:
There's a lot of different ways to counter this card: any spell-stopper to avoid the fusion altogether, any effect to stop the attack or damage, Reverse Trap. Because there are so many ways to counter it, you really need to be duel-savvy and look for that one moment to strike!

Strengths/Pros:
The attack boost makes for a nice hitter, as well as the effect of the original Flame Wingman...an attack against a monster in attack mode would be like a direct attack almost with the possibility of 4000+ damage!

Weaknesses/Cons:
There's a LOT of weaknesses other than the summoning requirement and how long it lasts on the field. I believe I've mentioned them all already, but if you use this monster right those weaknesses won't come into play too much. After you do use it right, though, you have to worry about your opponent Snatching it away from you...but at that point, Shining Flare Wingman will lose its attack boost unless your opponent is playing E-Heroes also.

Variations:
In the American TCG, this is only an Ultra or Ultimate rare in the Elemental Energy set

Artwork and aesthetics:
A Holy version of Flame Wingman? Now that's shiny!

Overall rating:
Even though this is one of my most favorite E-Heroes, I'd have to give this card a 7/10. Its skill level to use effectively is much to high for the casual duelist and should be left only to experts to master...but once it's mastered, WOW!

You are right, E-Hero Fusions like this, like Steam Healer, are very hard to use and summon, unless you have it all planned out, right in your hand and on the field. Then, when you summon your monster, cards like bottomless trap hole and other cards that stop the entire fusion or turn it against you, (chthonian polymer, non-fusion area, success probobilaty 0%, etc.) could leave you wide open and you would've wasted so many cards to summon just one card. This is why E-Hero decks are really only for casual play or valuable cards to trade for stuff like the three sacred beasts and other valuable cards like that. I completly agree with the review that you wrote, but I won't rank just because I already voted for the other user that wrote the review on the Water Dragon.

Just 'cause Jaden used them, that doesn't make them so. If you hate Jaden, I don't blame you (I hate him too), but Elemental Heroes are actually very usable if you give it a somewhat serious try.
