Deck "Nobody worries about droids."

Deck "Nobody worries about droids."
Format: Light Side - 60 Cards

I have had this deck for a long time, a slight vereant on a deck a mate made. I took ability characters out + weapons + ships, put some droids in and inserts to take there place, played around with numbers. I liked the way insert cards worked for him so I upped the numbers on them, added some cards to play around with oppenets force drains. Idea, you cant battle me and I can reduce force drains.

I have seen Droid decks before, but manly darkside.

Subject: Cheat deck   Posted: December 12, 2010 11:43 am

I made the same type of deck. Its cheap both in play and in cost. After playing it a couple times i took it apart because as well as being the most effective deck in winning, it was also the most boring to play. My deck varied a little bit from yours. From what i remember i loaded up with some generic non-unique droid with a destiny number of 4 and used Nar Shaddaa Wind Chimes for my force retrieval. I stared with the same effects, except i also started with Aim High. I used more Out Of Commission and a lot of Surprise Assault. Other than that, pretty much the same with the hologameboard, anger fear aggression, never tell me the odds... ect. I never tried this, but i suppose this deck could mess with the opponent even more if you wanted to fit in a few Nudj. But yeah the deck looks like it would accomplish its goal.

All my droids have destiny 4 to, good for the card "never tell me the odds" considering a lot of decks have characters with 1 destiny(they would have to bet 12 every time). You know what, I always forget about "Surprise Assault" every-time i make a LS deck. I'm gonna have to work some in. Wind chimes would be good with non-unique droids, it can be handy to get some of them surprise assaults back. I didn't want to fit any creatures in just because I find they get taken out to quickly and can not absorb any force on the forfeit. I like feed back because you can over look the most basic of combos.

I have never seen a deck like this, but for what it's worth I would:

Take out Wars Not Make One Great. All this can do is make your Force drains/all battles at the Holotable more expensive. Since droids do not count for presence, they do not block his control and therefore the card is instantly canceled if they deploy a character with ability to the site. (Unless the rules changed in one of the later sets without me knowing.)

Do you have any other ways to hurt your opponent than Anger, Fear, Aggression and Never Tell Me The Odds? Some decks will be retrieving a lot of Force against you (Carbon Chamber Testing/My Favorite Decoration will get at least one back every turn) and other than putting Projection of a Skywalker at the Holotable, I don't see any sustained way of reducing your opponent's Force.

(I didn't judge this deck yet because I want to know how it works)

You win with these type of decks with insert cards basically. This deck should have wind chimes to retrieve force and surprise assaults for greater force loss( but this deck did operate well without it, but does work better with it, Thanks "auzi"). you use Location cards that opponent cant deploy to very easily or cant force drain at. you reduce or cancel opponents force drains with the relevant cards in deck. Not exciting to play but can be hard to beat.

Subject: Out Of Commission   Posted: December 21, 2010 05:34 pm

I am glad my feedback helped. I forgot that i did post my droid deck online back on march 2nd of this year. You can check it out if you want to see how i would do mine, its labeled "droid invasion". The only thing i would emphasize for your deck is "out of commission". It is a destiny 5 used interrupt that if you have enough of in your deck you can make opponent's force retrieval virtually useless, as well as possibly take out very important cards to a person's deck for the whole game.

My revised deck i have added more Out of Commissions, I agree with the high destiny, and when I play against decks that target cards and sends out of play very annoying. Also since i haven't put a traffic terminal in(which I think should be in any deck) I do need to be able to circulate cards back into my force pile. Ive got a few surprise assaults but only a couple as I found it to much of risk drawing any of my insert cards as a destiny, which means I had to wait a lil longer to play it and for the opponent to reveal it.

I properly shouldn't do this but I'm going to update this deck soon, saves me putting in another listing.

If this is your latest version, it looks good. There are a few combos that work for this deck and since you have been playing it, i am sure this is probably what works the best. If i were to play competitively this is the type of deck i would play.
