This deck's main focus is to achieve a Shadow win by corrupting (or killing as a plan b) the Ringbearer. Most of the Events add Burdens by spotting Twilight Nazgul and so all but one of the minions (not including duplicates) are just that. Ferny is there for free pops on Frodo. Fell Beasts make Nazgul fierce so that hopefully the likes of the Witch-King or Enquea can get an extra pop. They also double up as a discard engine.
The Fellowship side runs a denial style deck, with a fine mix of tank and choke. The idea is to soup up the companions as much as possible, allowing them to tank. However we do this in phases other than the Fellowship so as to reduce the number of Minions facing us. If healing is needed, Theoden can change gears for a bit, or Leowyn can discard cards (which also functions as a drawing engine to get the right Shadow cards out). Eowyn can also heal in the Manuver phase without compromises to overall strategy of the deck.
Note this deck is for movie blocks only as our group does not play anything after set 10.
